Arrábida
In August 2025, Andrea, Nasson and I took a short trip to the Arrábida Natural Park in Setúbal to enjoy the isolated beaches and a landscape between dry nature and the ocean.

The park extends from Sétubal to Sesimbra, along the southwest coast of the Sétubal peninsula, and encompasses the Serra da Arrábida (approximately 35 km long). The dry vegetation typical of the Mediterranean meets the turquoise waters of the ocean. If you are lucky, you can spot dolphins swimming on the horizon.
It takes about an hour and a half to get there from Lisbon city center, but it's worth the detour. After that, be prepared to take some pretty steep, almost hiking trails to get to these little natural gems that the region has to offer.
